The service

SlavList (slavlist.com) is a bilingual directory of Russian-speaking businesses and specialists in the United States. By using the site you accept these terms. If you publish a listing you also accept the owner terms below.

Free listings and Featured

A free listing stays in the catalog and in search. We may check the phone and the address before it goes live.

Featured is paid placement: at most three slots in one subcategory in one city, all listing types combined. Company is $49 / month or $490 / year. Specialist is $25 / month or $249 / year. The Verified badge and reviews are not part of that purchase and are not for sale.

Billing, term and cancellation

Payment runs through Stripe, billed monthly or yearly. Renewal is optional.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period for both monthly and yearly plans. A refund is available within 14 days of payment if the slot has not already been used in search; after 14 days there is no refund.

What we list

SlavList lists licensed, verifiable services and real businesses: doctors, lawyers, salons, trades, food, kids, auto, moving, events, business services and pets.

We do not list psychics, tarot, numerology, “energy” or bioresonance diagnostics, unverifiable medical or financial promises, or adult services.

The name on the card is the company or specialist name, not a social username. Photos must be real — not stock people passed off as clients. A company and a specialist are different listing types; a specialist may be linked to a company.

Breaking this policy is grounds to hide or reject a listing with the reason “Policy”.

Accuracy of listing data

The listing owner is responsible for the accuracy of the name, address, phone, hours, licenses and copy. We may hide or remove a listing if the data is false, a license cannot be confirmed, the phone does not answer, or the content breaks the law or these terms.

Claiming a listing

If a listing has an email or a website, you can confirm ownership with a one-time 6-digit code we send to an address that matches the listing email or a mailbox on the listing’s website domain. Free-mail addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, Mail.ru, Yandex) never count as a domain match. A correct code assigns the listing immediately. Otherwise you can send a manual request; we reply within two business days. The claimant’s email is stored with the claim.

License to content

By uploading photos and text you grant us a non-exclusive license to show them in the catalog, in search, in owner emails and in SlavList materials, for as long as the listing remains. You warrant that you have the right to those files.

No guarantee of clients

We do not promise calls, bookings or deals. The directory is a reference, not a party to your contract with a business in the results.

Messages, questions and reviews

The Message button is only on listings with a connected owner. A visitor message, question or review is passed to that business: the name and a phone or email go to the owner so they can reply.

Threads, questions and reviews are kept for 12 months, then deleted. The owner replies from the dashboard or from a signed link in the email. Unanswered questions are hidden after 7 days.

A review is published after the owner replies or after the reviewer confirms a link we email. Owner replies appear under the review. Editors may unpublish a review with a reason.

The “who answers” photo is uploaded by the owner. It is a square portrait of the person who replies to messages, not stock. For a specialist with no other photos it may become the listing’s main image; never for a company. An admin may remove the photo with a reason, and the owner is emailed.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” International Association of Experts Inc. is not liable for damages above the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or USD 100 if you paid nothing), to the extent Florida law allows.

Florida law

Florida, USA law governs. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Florida hear disputes unless a mandatory rule says otherwise.
